MEET LINDSAY.
Lindsay Raymond is an experienced employment law attorney who guides public and private employers through the complexities of workplace and personnel matters, wage and hour compliance, equal employment opportunity issues, disability accommodation, policy development and administration, contract and business tort disputes, and employment litigation issues. As a trusted advisor, Lindsay listens and collaborates with her clients to identify potential issues and implement strategies to protect their interests.
With a background in musical theatre, Lindsay is a trained communicator, thrives under pressure, and is skilled at thinking on her feet. Her clients depend on Lindsay to perform at a high level, clearly communicate risks, and craft creative and effective solutions. Lindsay is accessible and thorough, and provides her clients peace of mind in times of heightened stress and worry.
As a litigator, Lindsay passionately advocates and defends her clients’ interests before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. She has defended clients against claims of harassment, hostile work environment, retaliation, and discrimination brought pursuant to Title VII, the ADA, ADEA, FMLA, ELCRA, PWDCRA, as well as wage and hour claims and claims of wrongful discharge, workplace defamation, and whistleblower retaliation. Lindsay has also defended and asserted violations of trade secret, non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality clauses.
In her spare time, Lindsay enjoys singing, being outside or on the lake, and doing home improvement and design projects with her husband, Andrew, and their two daughters. Lindsay is also Chair of the Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of Northern Michigan, and the Arts & Culture Chair of the Board of Directors for Impact 100 TC.
